Demarai Gray has left Blues to join Leicester City

And Gray has signed a deal with the Premier League side. The transfer fee remains undisclosed.

Gray, from Northfield, joined Blues Academy as an Under-10.

He came through the ranks and made his professional debut in October 2013.

Capped by England at youth level and recently for the Under-21s for the first time, he became the third youngest Blues player to score a hat-trick when he netted a 34-minute treble against Reading in December 2014.

The winger signed a new Blues deal in the summer but he and his agent insisted on buyout clauses in the agreement.

His previous contract was due to expire this summer.

Gray made 78 appearances for Blues (53 starts) and scored eight goals.

Everyone at the Club wishes Demarai all the best for the future and we thank him for his contribution and the way he has conducted himself on and off the field as a Blues player.
