Jon Toral nets a hat-trick at end of season awards

The talented Spanish youngster, who netted eight goals in 38 appearances during the 2015/16 campaign, won the prestigious Supporter’s Player of the Season. Toral was way ahead of his nearest rivals with 40 per cent of the vote.

His incredible volley against Ipswich Town in Blues’ 3-0 win was voted Goal of the Season.

And to cap off a wonderful evening for the Arsenal loanee, he received the plaudits of his peers after being voted as the Player’s Player of the Season.

Elsewhere, Viv Solomon's excellent progress was recognised with him being crowned Young Player of the Season (sponsored by 3aaaUK).

The winger has nailed down a regular spot in the matchday squad and has made a total of 25 appearances this season.

The 20-year old signed a new three-and-a-half year deal in January and he scored his first senior goal in Blues’ 5-2 victory at Fulham.

Goalkeeper Adam Legzdins scooped the PFA Community Champion award, which was supported by the Club’s charity partner the Birmingham City Community Trust.

Legzdins has attended a number of events throughout the campaign, and earlier this season took part in a Kicks programme event at Small Heath Leisure Centre.

Striker Clayton Donaldson received the Top Goal Scorer award after netting 11 goals this term, whilst Blues’ 3-0 away win at Derby County was awarded Moment of the Season, which is sponsored by JS Spooner.

Finally, the EzeTalk sponsored Supporter of the Season award went to Carol Butcher aka Scarf Lady.

Carol is well-known with supporters and has attended almost every home game for the past 60 years.

In January, she was nominated to receive an Eze Wish through shirt sponsor and principal partners, EZE Group meaning she was able to lead the players out before their 3-0 home victory against Ipswich Town.
