Official: Blues sign Norwich City striker Kyle Lafferty on loan

Norwich City have a 28-day recall option.
The Northern Ireland international is currently away with his national squad ahead of tonight’s friendly against Wales in Cardiff (7.45pm kick-off).
The 6ft 4in striker has collected 45 caps for his country, scoring 16 goals in the process.
Northern Ireland qualified for this summer’s 2016 European Championships top of Group F with Lafferty finishing top of the group’s scoring charts with seven goals.
The 28-year-old started his career at Burnley before moving to Rangers in 2008. Moves to Swiss side Sion and Italian side Palermo followed, before he returned to England in 2014 to link-up with Norwich.
Lafferty, who has made a total of 23 appearances at Carrow Road, has found chances limited with the Premier League side and spent four months playing for Turkish side Çaykur Rizespor at the end of last season.

Lafferty will wear squad number 25.
