Wes McDonald makes Nuneaton switch

Nuneaton play in the National League North, which is the sixth tier of English football and are currently in sixth place, just two points off a play-off spot.

Eighteen-year-old McDonald has been a regular for Blues Under-21s this season, where he has scored three goals in 14 competitive appearances.

He completed the second-half for Blues in their friendly fixture against the Boro on Wednesday, which Blues won 2-0.

Nuneaton are next in action tomorrow (Saturday) when they travel to Brackley Town for a league fixture.

Fellow Blues Academy graduate Kyle McFarlane has been on a youth loan with Nuneaton over the past month, but that deal expires at midnight tonight (Friday).
