Che is keen to be available for this game, but I would say with him as well we're really nip and tuck with that one.

Steve Cotterill

Steve Cotterill says that both Che Adams and David Davis are injury doubts ahead of Saturday's Championship trip to Bramall Lane.

The duo were substituted at half-time during Wednesday night's defeat at Middlesbrough.

Adams felt a tweak to his hamstring and David took a heavy knock to his knee which affected his mobility.

Meanwhile, Blues boss Cotterill indicated that one of either Craig Gardner (calf) or Stephen Gleeson (thigh) could be back in contention.

He also revealed that goalkepeer Tomasz Kuszczak has been playing through the pain barrier for the past month.

But if Cotterill did decide to rest the former Polish international, he would have David Stockdale available.

"We are being stretched at the moment, but that's what having a squad is about," said Cotterill.

"David Davis will be struggling.

"Che is keen to be available for this game, but I would say with him as well we're really nip and tuck with that one.

"Both of them are no more than 50/50.

"Tomasz Kuszczak has been playing for about a month now with a bit of an injury. He's been having pain killing injections.

"In terms of Gardner and Gleeson, one of them may return to the squad. I'm not sure about the other one yet."
