Solomon-Otabor sees Blackpool loan extended

Solomon-Otabor will stay with the Tangerines until the end of the season.


Viv Solomon-Otabor's has had his loan with League One Blackpool extended until the end of the 2017/18 campaign.

The 21-year-old forward joined the Tangerines back in July, and his current loan period had been due to finish on 6 January 2018.

Since making the switch to Bloomfield Road, the Londoner has made 25 appearances and scored twice for Gary Bowyer's side.

Solomon-Otabor's last first team appearance for Blues was back in January 2017 in the FA Cup, when Blues were beaten 3-1 by the Magpies in a third round replay at St James' Park.

Blackpool, who won promotion from League Two at the end of last season, are currently in 13th spot in League One, eight points off the play-off places.
