Team news ahead of QPR test

The Blues boss had been hopeful that the DR Congo international would be available this week, but the winger is still not back in training after sustaining an injury whilst away on international duty.

However, the Blues boss says there is an outside chance that centre-half Ryan Shotton (groin) may make the matchday squad and will have a late fitness test.

Craig Gardner is suspended for one game, following his red card at Preston and David Davis completes the second of a two-match ban for collecting 10 yellow cards this season.

Striker Clayton Donaldson (heel) is still out for at least a couple more weeks, as is Michael Morrison, who recently underwent a hernia operation.

"Jacques Maghoma has no chance of playing," said Zola.

"He is getting better but he hasn't been training with the team.

"Ryan. we will see, because he is getting better and there might be a possibility

"We're not going to have Craig Gardner because he's suspended. Gardner is a loss because he is an important player. He's a leader and it is important to have him on the pitch.

"Also, we're not going to have David Davis."
