Blues take on Bristol City in the Cup

The game will be dedicated to Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid. At this time of year, vulnerable women and their children rely more than ever on the generosity of others.


Blues welcome Bristol City to the Autotech Stadium on Wednesday 12 December (kick-off 7.30pm) as the Continental Cup group stage reaches its conclusion.

Blues head into the match full of confidence after an emphatic 6-0 victory over Leicester City Women to keep them second in Group One North. Shania Hayles made her first start of the season and bagged a brace, while Chloe Arthur scored her first goal for the club since joining in the summer with an impressive solo effort.    

Bristol City ran out 5-2 winners against Aston Villa Ladies in the last round to stay third but need to beat Marc Skinner’s side by four goals to advance to the knockout stages.


As it is our last game before Christmas, the game will be dedicated to our charity partner, Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid. 

There will also be a raffle to WIN signed Blues Women prizes with the money raised going to support the fantastic work of BSWAID Pick up a ticket for £2 or 3 for £5 with all funds raised going to support BSWAID.


The best festive outfit will win signed Blues goodies and tickets for our first match of 2019 against Reading on the 6 January.

Tickets for the game are available at just £8 for adults/£5 concessions on the gate and a discounted rate of £7 adults and £4 concessions if purchased in advance online.
