Defender Dan Cleary has left the Club today after having his contract cancelled by mutual consent.

The 21-year-old centre-half's existing deal was due to run until 30 June 2018.

The Dublin-born youngster has been with Blues since the summer of 2016 after leaving Liverpool, where he had spent five years.

Cleary has played regularly for the Club's Under-23s side, including six appearances during this season's campaign, but did not make any First Team starts.

Earlier this season he spent a spell out on loan with National League side Solihull Moors, for whom he played three matches.

The Club would like to wish Dan all the very best with his future playing career.
