Emilio Nsue has made a total of 37 appearances and scored one goal during his time at St. Andrew's.

Defender Emilio Nsue has left Blues to join Cypriot club Apoel FC on a permanent deal until May 2020 for an undisclosed fee.

The 28-year-old's move comes just under a year since he joined Blues from Middlesbrough.

During that time, he has made a total of 37 appearances and scored one goal.

However, the return to fitness of Maxime Colin has seen the Frenchman preferred as the first choice at right-back.

There is also back-up for the position, with Josh Dacres-Cogley returning to the fold as substitute in the FA Cup on Saturday as Nsue flew to Cyprus to seal his move.

Arsenal loanee Carl Jekinson is another alternative and Wes Harding, who made his senior debut at right-back in August, is nearing return to full fitness after a knee injury.

Apoel FC, who are based in Nicosia, play in the Cypriot First Division.

They are the most successful Cypriot football club and are the current league champions.

The Club wishes Emilio every success in the future and we thank him for his efforts.
