EMMA FOLLIS NOMINATED FOR TOP PFA AWARD

Blues Women midfielder Emma Follis has been nominated for November PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month Award.

The midfielder is in impressive form had an outstanding month, scoring three goals in three games against league leaders Arsenal, West Ham and Liverpool. Her dinked finish against Arsenal was nominated for FA Women's Super League Goal of the Week.

Follis joined Blues from fellow FA Women’s Super League side Reading in February 2017, where she scored 19 goals in 39 appearances. The midfielder endured a frustrating start to life at Blues with an injury-plagued year which ruled her out of the entire Spring Series and the showpiece Women’s FA Cup final at Wembley in May 2017.

In the absence of Ellen White and Rachel Williams this season, Follis' goals have been crucial to keep Blues in the hunt for a Champions League spot. Next up for Marc Skinner's side is a mouth-watering clash against second placed Manchester City on Sunday, followed by the last game of 2018 at home to Bristol in the Cup next Wednesday.

Emma is up against Brooke Chaplen (Reading), Fara Williams (Reading), Danielle Van De Donk (Arsenal), Vivianne Miedema (Arsenal) and Megan Walsh (Yeovil Town).
