Omar Bogle back in blue

It is a second spell at Blues for the 25-year-old forward.

Blues have today completed the signing of Cardiff City striker Omar Bogle on a season-long loan.

It is a second spell at Blues for the 25-year-old forward, who was with the Club's Academy between 2009-2011 before being released.

Bogle, who hails from Sandwell, began his senior playing career with non-league side Hinckley United before moving closer to home to link up with Solihull Moors.

He was a prolific marksman with Moors as he netted 62 goals in 111 league appearances, which earned him a move to Grimsby Town.

Bogle continued finding the back of the net on a regular basis for Grimsby and helped the Mariners win promotion to League Two.

Having scored 38 goals for the Mariners he joined Wigan Athletic in January 2017 for an undisclosed fee before he was on the move again in August of that same year to Cardiff City, where he signed a three-year deal.

After making 12 appearances and scoring three times for Neil Warnock's side, he was loaned to League One Peterborough United for the final months of the 2017/18 campaign.

Bogle has been allocated the number 14 shirt by Blues
