Pep Clotet and Viv Solomon-Otabor got their hands dirty helping refurbish a house for the Geoff Horsfield Foundation.

The pair joined Geoff Horsfield stripping wallpaper at the property in Erdington, Birmingham earlier this week, as the Club celebrates the charity partnership with the Geoff Horsfield Foundation on Friday night against West Bromwich Albion.

Clotet and Solomon-Otabor did a splendid job in stripping wallpaper in the hall and staircase! The house is currently being converted into a five bedrooms, with a communal kitchen and bathroom for homeless people and vulnerable adults.

“Geoff came into speak to the players on Monday and what he said makes you appreciate life a lot more and want to help. It’s great that we are all getting together and helping,” said Viv.

Pep added: “What Geoff is doing is incredible. Helping the homeless, feeding and housing them, there is not enough people like him and it highlights that maybe we could all do a little bit more.”

On Friday evening, the Club are asking supporters to bring toiletries to donate to the Geoff Horsfield Foundation. Toothpaste, toothbrushes, sanitary products and deodorant are just some of the items that are desperately required. There will be two drop off points outside the Kop reception and Main Stand reception from Friday, provided by Biffa.

There will be also a bucket collection outside the St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium before the game with Baggies for the Geoff Horsfield Foundation.
