Garry Monk has revealed that Sam Gallagher has returned to full training today and has a good chance of being available for Sunday's trip to Molineux.

Gallagher has not figured since the since the away defeat at Cardiff on 10 March as he has been struggling with a calf problem.

Blues have been light in the forwards department recently, with Che Adams serving out a three-match ban, which he completes on Sunday.

"We are checking him for this weekend," said the Blues boss.

"He has got another couple of training sessions, so we are going to have a good look at him, see if he is ready. We are hopeful with that.

"He was out there on the grass today (in full training), it's fine.

"He has been out on the grass in terms of rehabbing, but we are having a good look at him.

"The be all and end all will always be the game.

"There are certain markers that he has to get to in training and some things we can see from a physical point of view and understanding where he is at compared to where his full fitness would be."

There is also positive news regarding Craig Gardner.

The midfielder has been out with a hamstring injury and is also back out with the group.

"Craig Gardner has been back in training this week, that's good news as well," added Monk

"The rest is exactly the same."
