Blues Under-23s will take on National League side Solihull Moors in a pre-season friendly.

The behind-closed-doors fixture will take place at Blues' Trillion Trophy Training Centre on Tuesday, 9 July and kick-off at 1pm.

Moors, who are managed by former England goalkeeper Tim Flowers, narrowly missed out on promotion at the end of last season after finishing as runner-up in the National League behind Leyton Orient.

They were subsequently beaten by AFC Fylde in the play-off semi-finals.

They have been busy strengthening their side for the new campaign and have added ex-Blues defender Mitch Hancox as a key signing.

Blues Under-23s prepared for their PDL North season with a friendly against the Moors last year as well.

Further pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course once they have been confirmed.
