At the end of next week, I will give the Club my opinion and they can take a decision.Pep Clotet.
The 26-year-old midfielder has been training with the Club since last week and played just an under hour for the Under-23s against Bristol City on Monday.
McEachran, who came through the ranks at Chelsea, spent the last four years with Brentford before being released by The Bees in the summer.
"He has been having a few training sessions with us," said Clotet.
"The Club thought it could be good to have a look at him.
"It gives the Club enough time so we can have a proper assessment.
"We asked him to play on Monday to have a better assessment and give him the right opportunity to get fitter.
"At the end of next week, I will give the Club my opinion and they can take a decision."
"From what I have seen until now he is a player that is comfortable on the ball and a player who links up well from the back to the front," continued Clotet when asked about McEachran's qualities.
"Probably he is a player that needs to be playing with someone else in the middle.
"He has said he wants a chance; he backs himself and was happy to come here and have a trial.
"It's about doing the work on the pitch, showing what you can do and then the Club will take a decision."
