Joining from Oxford United in 1998, Purse established himself as a first-team regular during the 1999/2000 season, eventually being crowned Blues' player of the season that year. Purse made a total of 168 appearances for the Club during his time here at St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium.
Birmingham born Pendrey joined Blues as an apprentice in 1965 prior to turning professional the following year. Pendrey would go on to become one of the Club's longest-serving players making 306 appearances over a 14-year period before moving to West Midland neighbours, West Bromwich Albion in 1979.
Signed by Blues in 1996 the Cayman Islands international racked up 187 appearances over an eight-year period, finding the net 16 times. O'Connor was handed the captain's armband by Trevour Francis and lead the team out at The Millennium Stadium when Blues faced Liverpool in the 2001 League Cup final.
