The 17-year-old has recently played a series of games for Blues Under-23s, before suffering an ankle injury in training a fortnight ago.

Ireland Youth international Ryan Burke has been offered a two-year contract.

The tough-tackling left-back, 18, has been a mainstay of the Development Squad’s back four this season.

Midfielder Caolan Boyd-Munce’s strong performances for the Under-23s last week earned him a call up by Northern Ireland Under-21s for the first time.

And the good news has continued for the third year Scholar, 19, who has been offered a two-year contract.

And another of Blues' third years, midfielder Jack Concannon, 19, who has enhanced his game this season via a loan spell at Tamworth, has had a one-year offer put to him.

Winger George Baker, defenders Ben Forrest and Mitch Roberts (all aged 18) have been offered one-year contracts.

Midfielder Kane Thompson-Sommers (18) has had terms for 12 months offered.

The Club has decided to release second years Lewis Landers, Rhys Hilton, Christ Mayuba, Ryan Moore and Nick Okoro, as well as third year Scholars Leo Brown and Ben McLean.
