Birmingham City Women will be looking to make it three in-a-row against Liverpool Women on Sunday afternoon.

Blues secured back-to-back victories for the first time in the league under manager Marta Tejedor, completing two comebacks against Everton and West Ham.

Hayley Ladd and Ellen White had parts to play in the two wins with the midfielder scoring two impressive goals, whilst White bagged a brace against Everton.

Ladd was aware of the challenge that Liverpool will pose on Sunday and was relishing the prospect of a competitive game.

She said: “We know what they are about, and we will continue to do our homework and make sure we know what we are getting into.

“It will be a good game; they are a good side.”

England international White was pleased to secure consecutive wins and is focused on help the team finishing the season strongly.

She said: “We’ve got two back-to-back wins now, which is good for us, we need that consistency until the end of the season.

“We want to end the season on four back-to-back wins, which will be good to end the season on.”

The game takes place at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium and both were excited by the prospect of playing at a bigger stadium.

Ladd said: “It will be nice to play on a bigger pitch, a bigger stadium with lots of fans.”

White continued: “It will be good to end of home season at St. Andrew's, if we can get some fans down that will be great and hopefully the pitch will be nice.”
