Jordan’s Selfless Gesture

Thank you Jordan

Jordan Oliphant is a remarkable and selfless young man.

At birth, Jordan was given a slim chance to live after being diagnosed with a complex congenital heart defect.

Last week he celebrated his 21st birthday with 30 of his Blues family and friends at the Leeds United game. For his milestone birthday, Jordan asked his friends and family for one thing: a donation to the Geoff Horsfield Foundation.

As a thank you to the remarkable Bluenose, who follows Garry Monk’s squad home and away, the Club had a number of surprises in store for him throughout the afternoon.

First up Geoff Horsfield. Geoff personally thanked Jordan for his amazing generosity and presented him with a signed Blues football. This was followed by a meet and greet with former Blues striker Kevin Phillips. Jordan was Kevin’s mascot during his time at St. Andrew’s.

Last but not least, Wes Harding was on hand to give Jordan his match-worn signed poppy shirt.

What a day and what a gesture to our official charity partner – thank you Jordan!
