Back of shirt sponsor, No5 Barristers’ Chambers have generously offered their space to Blues’ official charity partner for one match only.
The likes of Che Adams, Gary Gardner and Lee Camp will be wearing the limited edition royal blue jersey at St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium for the visit of the Rams.
The Geoff Horsfield Foundation supports homeless and vulnerable people in the city of Birmingham by providing quality, safe, secure and supported housing accommodation. Blues fans’ favourite, Horsfield, formed the Foundation in 2016 to focus on adults who have fallen through the current support networks offered, with the aim of turning their lives around through access to services and offering independent living.
“What an amazing gesture from No5 Barristers’ Chambers, I can’t begin to thank them enough for their support this season,” said Geoff Horsfield.
“To have my Foundation’s logo on the back of every player’s shirt is unbelievable. The amount of awareness this will create will be fantastic and hopefully it will bring Garry and the team three points on Friday.”
Tony McDaid, Chief Executive and Director of Clerking, No5 added: “When you meet Geoff Horsfield and listen to the passion he has to help the homeless and vulnerable people in our city, you just know you have to do more to support him.
“Our continuous involvement with him has included helping out with the Monday night food bank and in giving up our back of shirt sponsorship for the Derby game we hope that others will research the charity for themselves and feel inspired to support Geoff.”
Every player's match worn shirt will be signed and auctioned off, with all proceeds going to the Geoff Horsfield Foundation.
