REACTION: Swansea City 3 Blues 0

When they scored the goal and the other goal coming so quick we lost a lot of organisation and it was a completely different game.

Pep Clotet spoke to the media after Sunday's defeat at the Liberty Stadium...

Pep Clotet on the result...

"It was very disappointing because obviously there were a lot of things we did very well in the first half and took it to the second half. A lot of things we did better against Barnsley it was tough for us to put on the pitch today. When you play a top side that has a lot of confidence and a way of playing at home, everything has to be right for you to try and get a result. We knew all their strengths and how they would attack our goal, we needed to have the proper organisation to defend that threat first."

Pep Clotet on the performance of his side...

"The team did very well when we came to half-time very solid at the back despite playing against tough opposition. You have to remember Swansea attack with a lot of numbers, they create problems inside and outside. At the end of the day what we had against Barnsley that we did not have today was our ability to link up every time we won the ball and were trying to attack. Our ability to link the defence and attack was much better against Barnsley."

Pep Clotet on the two-goals in quick succession..

"When they scored the goal and the other goal coming so quick we lost a lot of organisation and it was a completely different game. We got the ball back much deeper than on Tuesday. At home against Barnsley we were able to get the ball back a little bit higher up the pitch. You can more easily create a link with the attack. Today the numbers Swansea used in attack were much more than Barnsley used so when they lost the ball they were doing a very high press straight away. That puts problems on you because you know straight away when you win the ball you are going to have immediate pressure and that link affected us a little bit. Despite of that after that first half I never feared for the result."
