Line drawn under Regional Talent Clubs season

These are challenging circumstances for English football and all decisions taken are in the best interests of the game.

The Regional Talent Clubs leagues have been declared null and void, the Football Association has announced.

The 2019-20 season, which was due to finish in April, has now ended due to coronavirus pandemic.

This encompasses RTC ages Under-9s to Under-16s.

A decision has still to be taken on the current Barclays FA WSL season, the Championship season, Women's FA Cup and WSL Academy season.

Talks remain ongoing between the FA, the WSL and Women’s Championship Board and clubs regarding the most appropriate way to complete these campaigns.

The FA, FA Women’s Board members and the Women’s Football Conference consulted and reached this consensus regarding the Women’s Football Pyramid.

With all results expunged, this means no promotion or relegation of clubs between Tiers 3 to 7.

In men's football, similarly all competition below the three divisions that make up the National League has ended and all results expunged.

"These are challenging circumstances for English football and all decisions taken are in the best interests of the game," said an FA statement.

"Our primary concern will always be for the safety and welfare of clubs, players, staff, officials, volunteers and supporters during this unprecedented time.

"Today's steps take into account the financial impact during this uncertain period, whilst considering the fairest method on how the sporting outcomes for the season will be decided, with the integrity of the leagues in mind."
