Pep Clotet has confirmed that Josh McEachran has had surgery on his knee and is already back at the training ground.

The 26-year-old midfielder tore his anterior cruciate ligament in Blues' FA Cup Fourth Round replay against Coventry City at the start of the month and has subsequently had to wait for the swelling in his knee to subside.

"Josh is already in today after surgery and he feels fine, so he will start this recovery now," said Blues' Head Coach.

"We wish him the best."

Meanwhile, Kerim Mrabti (hamstring) was back in full training today, although Clotet has yet to decide if he will be considered for Saturday's trip to QPR.

"Kerim is training with us and has shown a good level of fitness.

"But I haven't decided yet if he will be available for selection.

"(Jacques) Maghoma (thigh) is going to be a bit more time, but everything looks promising."
