Reaction: Norwich City 1 Blues 0

I don't want to complain against the referees, but with the penalty we conceded against Sheffield Wednesday and the sending off today it's difficult.

Aitor Karanka's thoughts after seeing his side beaten late on by the Canaries at Carrow Road...

On the disappointment of conceding an 87th minute goal...
"I was disappointed with the late goal because the effort the players put in on the pitch was amazing. We were missing some important players, so we had to change the shape. Like I said last weekend, I don't want to complain against the referees, but with the penalty we conceded against Sheffield Wednesday and the sending off today it's difficult to take especially when you look at the players and how sad and frustrated they are."

Asked if he would have liked his team to have offered more in attack...
"It's difficult because we have lost two important players in Lukas Jutkiewicz and Jon Toral and we have some players that aren't yet 100 per cent like Riley McGree and Jonathan Leko who started for the first time in nine or 10 months. We competed against a team that has had the same manager for three years and were in the Premier League last year. I prefer to take the good things from the game. I'm the first one to be critical of myself. On Saturday we didn't compete but today we did. And with this commitment and when the players are 100 per cent fit we will play better, and we will score more goals."

On Jon Toral missing out...
"It's his groin. I don't know when he's going to be 100 per cent. If he's fit for Saturday that would be perfect, but I don't want to take a risk."
