Blues full-back Steve Seddon has joined League One Portsmouth on loan until the end of the season.

It is a third loan spell away from the St. Andrew's Trillion Trophy Stadium who spent time Stevenage and AFC Wimbledon last season.

The 22-year-old made his first senior start for Blues earlier campaign in the 1-0 win away at Brentford in August.

He has subsequently gone on to make a further four appearances, with his last start coming in the 3-0 away defeat to Swansea on 25 August.

His opportunities have been limited because of the form of Kristian Pedersen at left-back.

So the move will help Seddon gain more valuable competitive experience as he continues his development.

Portsmouth, who are managed by Kenny Jackett, are currently in ninth spot in their division - just a point off the Play-Off places.
