The last fortnight has marked a memorable Weeks of Action campaign in partnership with Level Playing Field as we continue to embrace inclusion for disabled supporters.

On Thursday, this was topped off by a special surprise for students at Harborne’s Queen Alexandra College.

The students were brought to St. Andrew’s Trillion Trophy Stadium and treated to a tour of the ground, including a look around the dressing room and dugouts.

For some, this was a first ever visit to a football stadium. For others, it was a chance to get to know their beloved Club a little more. For all, it was a day never to be forgotten.

The group posed for photos and enjoyed listening to stories of games gone by as told by diehard Blues fan Lewis Mitchell.

Lewis, who has cerebral palsy, was our Supporter of the Season in 2016/17 and continues to follow the team up and down the country.

“It’s been an amazing day,” said the Bluenose.

As one final surprise to top it off, we presented the students with complimentary tickets for a future game.

We look forward to welcoming them back to St. Andrew’s when fixtures resume.
