Pan-disabled Blues players get a surprise call

Players from Birmingham City FC Community Trust’s pan-disabled teams have been meeting up on Zoom every week during lockdown to chat, keep in touch and share their stories, and last week an England international decided to drop-in and speak to the players.

Hannah Hampton logged on to the call and went into detail about her career, ranging from her days as a striker growing up in Spain to working her way through the ranks at Blues and England.

The players got the chance to quiz Hannah too on her experiences and her hopes for Blues Women as they continue their WSL season. They found out who inspired Hannah whilst growing up, how she recovers from injuries and she gave in-depth insight into the Women’s team’s tactics.
