Blues forward Jayden Reid has joined Walsall until the end of the season.

The 19-year-old will link up with the League Two side in what will be his second stint away from the Club following a move to Barrow earlier this year.

Reid made 12 appearances for the Bluebirds, the vast majority of those under the guidance of former Blues midfielder David Dunn.

Dunn had high praise for the teenager and told BluesTV that Reid has a bright future in the game based on what he saw.

Head Coach Aitor Karanka is keen that the teenager secures further competitive experience to assist his development.

Regularly amongst the goals at Under-23 level, the former Manchester United and Swansea City trainee heads to the Black Country in search of First Team football.

The Saddlers will be hoping to mount a play-off push in the second half of the season and currently sit just five points off the top six.

Good luck, Jayden!
