Goals from Leonie Maier, Hanna Bennison and Rikke Sevecke gave the hosts all three points at Walton Hall Park.
Jade Pennock had equalised for Blues in the first-half with her and the team’s first goal of the season.
Scott Booth made two changes to the side that lost to Brighton last time out. Gemma Lawley came in for the injured Cecilie Sandvej and Pennock replaced Eleanor Ryan-Doyle.
Blues started the match brightly, pressing Everton high up the pitch, and forcing them into some early errors from the back.
It was the hosts that took the lead, though. Grace Clinton’s initial effort was blocked by a combination of Gemma Lawley and Harriet Scott, but the rebound fell to German defender Maier who found the near corner via a deflection.
Booth’s side continued in the manner that they had started and won the ball back high up the field. As a result, Scott sent a bending effort towards the goal, but it was a routine save for Sandy Maciver.
Blues managed to find the equaliser through Pennock. Lucy Quinn played the ball into the midfielder, who took a couple of neat touches to create an opening and fired her effort into the far corner.

Half-time: Everton 1-1 Blues Women
An excellent defensive tackle from Scott stopped Everton from breaking through shortly into the second-half. The full-back sliding in to deny Claire Emslie.
Everton then forced another opportunity, this time Emslie found space down the right and fired a low ball into half-time substitute Bennison. The Swedish midfielder’s effort was well blocked by Louise Quinn.
Willie Kirk’s side retook the lead through Bennison as the match entered its final 15 minutes. The midfielder played a one-two with Toni Duggan and fired an effort into the top left-hand corner.
The home side then added a third in the seventh minute of injury time. Izzy Christiansen floated a corner into the six-yard box and Sevecke climbed highest to nod in.
