Blues Regional Talent Club
The Regional Talent Club (RTC) provides elite player development opportunities for female footballers aged 8–16 years, and has produced current and former first-team players and England internationals.
Past graduates that have broken through into the first team include:
Kerys Harrop - FA Women's Super League second most capped player and current first team captain.
Karen Carney MBE - First female player to be inducted into the Blues 'Hall of Fame' and over 100 senior England appearances.
Hannah Hampton - England Lionesses U19 goalkeeper.
Charlie Wellings - U20's World Cup bronze medal winner with England.
The RTC player pathway is designed to help identify female players of outstanding ability. The RTC is the only FA recognised Tier One licensed talent centre in the West Midlands.
The RTC takes part in a local and national fixture programme and the FA Youth and provides players with a comprehensive training programme across all areas of the game.
