Blues' George Hall set for England Under-18s duty

George Hall has been chosen to represent England Under-18s in next month's international fixtures.

Blues' youngster will reunite with his national team counterparts in early June before Ryan Garry's side travel to Croatia for three matches against fellow European opposition.

The Young Lions will face Austria on Tuesday 7 June, Wales on Friday 10 June and Croatia on Monday 13 June, with all fixtures set to kick-off at 4pm CEST and take place at the NK Sesvete Stadium, Zagreb.

Hall's latest international call-up comes after a fine campaign that concluded with a second First Team outing against Blackburn Rovers at St. Andrew's on the season's final day, following on from being handed his senior debut by Lee Bowyer versus Queens Park Rangers in January.

And despite injury impacting his overall minutes last term, the attacking midfielder also recorded 18 appearances between the Under-23s and Under-18s, as well as representing England Under-18s on three occasions. The most recent of these came during March's 3-2 win over Sweden in Marbella, Spain.
