FRAN STENSON

Goalkeeper

Biography

Fran Stenson re-joined Blues on a season-long loan prior to the 2022/23 season.

The goalkeeper spent the first-half of last season on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, before returning to parent club Arsenal in January.

Progressing through Blues’ Academy pathway, the shot stopper made her professional debut in 2017 as a second-half substitute in the side’s 2-1 victory against Everton.

Following this, she made the move to Manchester City, where she made her debut in the FA WSL Cup against our Second City rivals.

A short loan spell at Blackburn Rovers then saw her secure a long-term deal at her current club Arsenal.

This saw her immediately return to Rovers for a second spell, where she made nine appearances before seeing her stint cut short due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
